Locke + Co. Big Catch Bourbon is a collaboration featuring label artwork by our friend Garrison Doctor and RepYourWater, promising to be a true delight. At 95 proof, it offers a strong honey and vanilla aroma with hints of dried berries, maple syrup, and walnuts. The full-bodied taste combines caramel, honey, and vanilla, balanced with rye spice and peppercorn to round out the pallet. The long finish lingers with caramel, black pepper, toffee, light brown sugar, and cinnamon. Aged for over two years in brand new 53-gallon Missouri oak barrels, the bourbon is crafted from both high rye and high wheat mash builds to achieve bold, balanced flavors. It’s then finished by dropping in used hand-cut and charred aspen wood discs from our rye whiskies, along with some new charred aspen discs, creating a bourbon with a Taste Like None Other.
